Brookes, the cat from the flaming abyss
It was when I stepped through the door of the flat 17 on Velvet Rd. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt a presence, lurking at every corner. I said hi to Aunt Kathy and Uncle Lloyd. Then I saw the big moosey… Brookes. He didn’t seem all evil then. Boy did he fool me. His kitten eyes and orange fur would make you go a big rubbery one. I tugged on his tail, expecting a nice little pur. What’d I get? A hiss and swat that made the next door neighbors neck hairs stand up like cactus’s. I swear if this cat had a voice it would be Biff Tanens. “Hey Butt-head”. Later on during the day, I was eating a good ole’ Baltimore Tasty Cake, when he jumped off his spot on the window sill, came down right to the coffee table and started sniffing them. I couldn’t touch him otherwise I’d literally be murdered. So all I could do was say, “Touch it and you die you orange prick”. The second he turned his head, I snatched them. When he looked back and they were gone, he glared at me with his yellow eyes. Just glaring at me with pure evil. He literally growled at me, and jumped on my leg. “Hey Butt-head. I thought I told you never to come in here. I get to eat the Tastey Cake. You have any idea what’ll happen if I turn in my dinner with your teeth marks? I’ll be kicked outa the house. Now, you wouldn’t want that to happen would ya? Would ya!!! Wrong answer Procopio!!!” And he tore into me. I had to literally kick the creep off. Then last night, I wake up in the middle of the night, and look down at my feet, and all I see is a shadowy figure at my feet. With two beedy yellow eyes glaring back at me. He was just looking at me. That was the most alarming moment of my life. Why couldn’t he be like my old cay Gus, rest his soul. Gus was cuddly, cool, and british. He got kidney stones though and had two option. Die, or become a women. He for one chose death. But still to this day, Brookes sits up at his window sill… Waiting. Planning some immenent attack on american soil. He’s living proof that demons surround us. But with the man upstairs on my side, Brookes can’t do any permanent damage.
